Workout data stays in the app
Exercises, sets, weights, reps, RPE, notes, routines, custom exercises, and preferences are stored in the app’s private local storage on your device. Sinew has no account system, developer-operated cloud sync, or server that receives this information. The app does not send your training data to us or an analytics provider.
Sinew contains no advertising or third-party analytics and crash-reporting SDKs. It does not use an advertising identifier or ask for access to your location, Health data, camera, microphone, or notifications.
Optional purchases use Apple
If you buy or restore Sinew Pro, Apple processes the transaction through StoreKit. The app uses the resulting purchase status to unlock features. Your workout records are not included in this purchase flow. Apple handles purchase information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Exports and device backups
CSV import reads a file you select. CSV export creates a file that you choose where to save or share. If you send an exported file to another app or service, that destination’s privacy practices apply.
Sinew does not run its own cloud backup or sync. Depending on your iOS settings, Apple’s device backup may include local app data. You control device backup settings with Apple. Deleting Sinew removes its local app data from that device; copies you exported and device backups are separate.
This website and support email
These static pages are hosted by Cloudflare. A visit sends the normal network request needed to deliver the page to Cloudflare, which may process information such as your IP address and browser details under Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. These pages contain no advertising or analytics scripts.
If you choose to email us, your address and message pass through your email provider and ours. We use them to answer your request and keep the correspondence only as needed for support. Please do not send workout files unless you choose to share them.
Your choices
You can use workout logging without a Sinew account or an internet connection. You can export your data with Sinew Pro, delete workouts and routines in Settings, or remove the app’s local data by deleting the app. To request access to or deletion of a support email you sent us, use the address below. We cannot retrieve workout records stored only in the app on your device.
Sinew is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect workout data from any user.
